GDTF Specification Proposal Accepted for Attributes to Control Aurora Polaris
'The most important argument made during the acceptance process was that the hues of both the Northern and Southern Lights fit harmoniously with the GDTF project marketing color theme,' writes the GDTF Technical Commeddee in their report. The report also explains that 'adding support for the Control Particle Wave Guide (CPWG) protocol will be only a light touch to GDTF, thanks to its extensibility.'

DMXtoColor for TouchDesigner
Nicola Mune has created a small tool DMXtoColorTD to easily convert DMX color signal from a light desk into normalized RGB values in TouchDesigner. The DMX channels and color information are taken from a GDTF file and provided to TouchDesigner for further usage.
